Let's Make A Deal

Ok, I love this show!  This show is a television classic!  The perfect show to DVR or Tivo!  Let's Make A Deal first aired December 30, 1963.  Yes- that long ago.  The whole point of this show is to give away prizes or cash and maybe a few zonks here and there.  People dress up in crazy costumes and hope to be picked.  Sometimes the crazier the costumes the more likely your chances of getting picked.  Obviously Wayne Brady has not been hosting this show since the 60's, but he is a great host now!  His co-host Jonathan Mangum is also awesome.  They are the perfect duo and are completely entertaining to watch!
So, just in case you have never watched this show before... let me give you a run down of how it works.  Wayne will scan the audience (usually by walking through it) and pick out someone (or a few people depending on what game is going to be played) and offer them the chance to play for prizes or money.  They will either win or not win, by getting a zonk prize.  The zonk prizes are usually really creative and hilarious!
The games are really simple and usually are games of change such as matching, rock paper scissors, and scratch offs.  Definitely not as challenging as some of the guessing games in the Price is Right.

I think this is an awesome show.  Even if people aren't into game shows, Wayne and Jonathan definitely do not fall show of providing pure entertainment for an hour!  Before I die I am going to go to this show and be a guest in the audience, and hopefully get picked!  This show airs every week day at 10 am on CBS.  If you are home, I suggest you watch it and if you aren't then record just one show and see if you don't wish you were home every day during the week!

My Fair Wedding with David Tutera

I love this show.  David Tutera has to be one of the sweetest guys alive.  This show basically takes brides that are planning their own wedding (usually on a smaller budget) and have these crazy visions about what they want to happen.  A lot of these visions are themed (poker, alice in wonderland, phantom of the opera, day of the dead- just to name a few).  David comes in usually a couple weeks before the wedding and changes everything.  He will take things that he likes and keep them or maybe tweek them just a little bit, but then everything else that he doesnt not think goes with the theme or looks good or seems like the bride, he changes.

I think that what he sees for each bride on her wedding is just amazing!  His receptions are off the hook and they are beautiful.  He takes time to get to know the bride and what she wants to see happen on her big day.  He makes sure that the bride puts herself first and understands that this is going to be one of the most amazing days of the rest of her life that she will look back on for years to come.
This show is geared more towards women and I think that if you are engaged or planning on getting married or engaged in the future, then you should definitely tune in for some good ideas... ESPECIALLY if you are thinking about having a themed wedding.  My Fair Wedding shows on WeTV all the time.  I don't know if there is a new season on or not, but it is great if you can catch it!  It definitely deserves to be watched and David deserves to be supported because he is amazing!

Operation Repo

Definitely in my top 5 list for favorite shows! I love all of these characters and although sometimes the show may seem scripted, I still think it is completely entertaining and I am always laughing.
This show is about a repossessing company owned by Lou located in California.  Lou's daughter Lyndah and sister Sonia work for him as well and Sonia's ex-husband Froy and a friend Matt works for the company as well.  All 5 of them are sent out to repossess cars and of course run into all kinds of characters along the way.

One of my favorite episodes of all time is one where Matt and Sonia go to this house to repossess some kid's Toyota or something and him and his friends attack Matt and bite him.  They are all crawling around on the ground like weird vampires or something and when Matt confronts the teenager that owns the car, one jumps on his back and bites him.  The funniest part about this was that Sonia was pissed afterwards that she wasn't invited to the party.  She even tells the kid when she drives off to invite her to the next one lol.  It was  her kind of house she said because the porchlights were all red and it was totally dark in and around the house besides for the creepy red lights.  Matt of course (who is a huge baby) freaks out and I think he pepper sprays the kids (there were 4 of them).  Finally they get the keys and leave.

People may think that this is scripted (and I do too sometimes), but either way, it is hilarious because if it is scripted, these people think of some retarded things.  Some of  them I dont think are scripted only because Froy has had a head wound before and other people have gotten hurt... Lou even lands himself in the hospital with heart problems.

Everyone should give this show a try.  The new episodes are on TV on Thursdays, but there are a lot of replays on TV no matter what day or time, so you are sure to catch one that you will find totally entertaining!

Jersey Shore UPDATE

Ok.  I know I tuned into the last Jersey Shore episode (Sunday, August 28 before the VMA's) and it was ridiculous like usual.  Sammi continuously is screwing up and causing problems in the house.  She and Ron should remain single for the rest of their lives, either that or they should both find someone who is just like themselves or someone that is obsessed with them WITHOUT being insecure.  They should not be together and quite frankly, if I lived in that house, I would be pissed at the ridiculousness that was going on because this is completely unacceptable.

The previews for this episode definitely made it seem like something crazier was going to happen.  Basically the situation knocked himself out and injured himself.  Then afterwards it made me mad because he is crying in the house because he doesn't think anyone cares about him, when in reality HE IS THE ONE THAT INJURED HIMSELF!  Why should the people in the house sit there and not go out for a week or however long he has to stay at home when it was his fault that he had to go to the hospital.  He never should have gave in to Ronnie's drunken attitude problems.

s/n: Sam is the one who should have ended up with a neck sprain.

I love Jersey Shore, I am just tired of Sam.  Ron shouldn't have been the one packing up his stuff, it should have been Sam just like the last season.  They need to stay separated and I am praying that they do not get back together during the rest of this season no matter how entertaining it makes the show.  I am tired of her and him both crying!!!

Keep watching for even more craziness to come!
